Sad State of Affairs

Since Super League and the freeing up of $ to fight it, Parramatta have always had at least one of its year long competition sides in the finals. Those side being First Grade (NRL) Reserve Grade (NSW Cup/ Presidents Cup) or 20s/21s (Presidents Cup/ NYC (Holden Cup / Toyota Cup)/ Jersey Flegg)

Except for 3 years. 2015. 2024 and 2026.

So in the last three years we have failed to get a single side to the finals twice.

Not one team.

Three times in 28 years and the group of people in charge are all responsible for the last two years.

What is worse is that for the last two times in the last 3 years we have also had our Women’s program teams, the NSW Women’s Premiership and the NRLW, and in 2024 and 2026 these sides also failed to make the finals

This is a disgrace to our club and its supporters. This also highlights that the issues at the club appear to be systemic and higher up than individual sides, players or coaches and more a poor understanding and execution of the football program.
